Opening in 1962, The Royal Ashburn Golf Club quickly garnered recognition as being one of the best golf courses in the GTA. 45 years later, Continual refinements to both the clubhouse and the golf courses has made The Royal Ashburn one of the best facilities in Canada. Our first class facilities and dedication to service have allowed us the opportunity to host many prestigious local and international events, including a visit from His Royal Highness Prince Andrew Duke of York in 1999.

The club has also hosted several golf events including The Canadian Open Monday Qualifier (July 2007) and for the past 35 years, The Canadian Tour Fall Qualifying School, an international event that sees players from around the world compete to earn playing status on the Canadian Tour. In fact, we have hosted the event for the past 35 years and are now home to the longest running professional event, held at one venue, in all of Canada.

The Royal Ashburn Golf Club is ranked among the top 50 public golf courses in Canada and the number 1 ranked golf course in the Durham Region. With five sets of tees to choose from, the golf course can be played from 5016 yards to 7075 yards and is sure to be challenging and enjoyable for players of all levels.

The Royal Ashburn Golf Club is a mature, traditional style layout featuring tree-lined fairways, well-guarded greens, several well placed ponds and the beautiful Lynde Creek, which winds its way throughout the property. The natural setting and beauty of the golf course will provide a wonderful golf experience for both the pro and novice golfers.
