For passing G1 Knowledge test, you can use practice tests that contain road rules and signs questions offered as an open resource for all by G1PT. You need to keep your G1 license for a year (or eight months if you are enrolled in a driver training program) after passing your written exam at Drive Test. Only then can you take your first drive test and become eligible for a G2 license. To pass the exam, you need to accurately respond to 16 questions in each part. Apart from the written examination, you will also have to clear a vision test and pay a package price of $158.25, which will cover your knowledge test, your five-year license, and your ultimate G2 driver's test. The cost of retaking the written test will be an additional $15.75 CAD.
