Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Oshawa-Whitby

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oshawa - Whitby has been a fully accredited member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada and creating friendships since 1969. We started out matching Big Brothers with Little Brothers and have grown to include a variety of different programs that serve both boys and girls. We are proud of our achievements and continue to strive to be on the leading edge of the Big Brothers Big Sisters movement in Canada.

A percentage of the agency's operation budget is provided by the United Way of Oshawa-Whitby-Clarington. Fundraisers such as our Bowl For Kids Sake, Golf For Kids Sake and Battle of the Hors D'oeuvres and donations from community minded individuals and organizations provide additional required funding.

In April of 2002 the Big Brothers of Oshawa-Whitby changed its name to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oshawa-Whitby.
